White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna & Hunt is pleased to announce the formation of their new entity, White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna & Hunt Advisors, LLC. The practice will consist of comprehensive financial planning and insurance planning for the Family Law community. These services will include the restoration of advisory support, Estate Tax and charitable planning, wealth management, buy-sell planning as well as retirement planning. In addition, the scope of the advisory services will include comprehensive fee-based Financial Planning, asset protection planning, management of clients financial expectations in divorce, life insurance issues and planning in divorce and retirement income distribution strategies. Expert Witness services will also be offered in the areas of imputed interest on assets available for support, valuation of insurance and retirement assets and standard of care issues in various insurance related litigation matters.
Heading this division will be Igor A. Zey, MSFS, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CAP®, AEP. Mr. Zey has been a frequent speaker on the subjects of financial, charitable, and estate tax planning in the context of marital dissolutions, ESOPs, executive compensation, disability and life insurance planning, and asset protection planning to various professional groups of attorneys, doctors, Certified Public Accountants (AICPA and California Society of CPAs), and insurance producers.
He has testified in courts on numerous financial issues related to imputed interest calculation on assets available for support, retirement plan analysis in divorce, financial planning, etc. Expert Witness work is offered through Professional Financial Resources, Inc.
Mr. Zey is a graduate of University of California at Los Angeles with a BA in Russian Literature and Linguistics. He is an MSFS (Master of Science in Financial Services) from the American College in Pennsylvania, CFP® (Certified Financial PlannerTM) from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado, CLU® (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant), CAP® (Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy), and an AEP® (Accredited Estate Planner).
Mr. Zey has been involved with a wide range of professional affiliations, including the National Association of Life Underwriters, West Los Angeles Life Underwriters, the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (where he served as director), Planned Giving Round Table of Southern California, Western Region Estate Planning Council, National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and currently holds FINRA licenses 6, 7, 63, 65, and 24.
He enjoys playing chess competitively, Krav Maga, and kickboxing.
